Introducing a new 5 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, from our sister restaurant in Ballater, Fish Shop.

This Scottish Whisky has a saline profile that pairs perfectly with seafood. It was matured for 5 years in a combination of ex sherry casks, adding a depth of tannins, and ex bourbon casks that bring lighter vanilla notes. Bottled in its natural colour and elevated by lighter citrus notes on the palate, it also cuts through the oiliness of smoked fish and pairs beautifully with oysters.

Selected for Fish Shop by our friends at Ardnamurchan Distillery, this Single Malt Whisky was distilled only a few hundred metres away from Loch Sunart. Scotland's second longest sea loch, the saline atmosphere surrounding the ageing warehouses and the mineral-rich water used to craft the spirit impart a natural saltiness to the matured whisky.

Returns & Exchanges

Important information
If on receipt of your product you are uncertain about your purchase, please keep your product in the original packaging until you have decided whether or not you wish to keep it.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it to us no later than 28 days from the date you receive it and provided the item is in saleable condition, we will refund or exchange the item(s), excluding any delivery charges.

Returns are only accepted online for products purchased directly from our online shop and shall be made in accordance with our Online Shop Terms of Use.
Return shipping will be charged at standard shipping rates based on your shipping location.

Making a return

On receipt of your returns request, we will email you a returns label to attach to the packaged item(s).If you would like to arrange a return via home collection or a collection point drop off, please inform us when you submit your returns request and we can help organise this with you.
When returning items to The Fife Arms, please ensure that they are well packaged and protected from damage in transit, within the original packaging. 
You are responsible for each item until we receive it.
All items will be inspected upon return.
Once we have received your returned item(s), we will arrange a refund, excluding any shipping costs, which will be paid in accordance with our Online Shop Terms.

Fish Shop

Located in the heart of Ballater, Fish Shop restaurant and adjoining fishmonger celebrates the heritage and traditions of fishing in Scotland serving ethically sourced fish from day and short-trip boats, as well as creel-caught and hand-dived crustacea.

A short 30 minute drive from The Fife Arms hotel, Fish Shop has a menu focused on shellfish and day boat fish, with the addition of select game, meat and vegetables from surrounding farms and estates. The restaurant and fishmonger are committed to being low-waste from fit-out to packaging; even smoking techniques use zero-emission charcoal.
